Current Job Title/Designation and name of company. Medical Officer UD41, Ministry of Health Malaysia.

Tell us briefly about your current work. I am currently working at Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Kota Kinabalu, Sabah as a House Officer and I am currently in my third rotation which is the Medical Department.

What is your most memorable experience in school? My most memorable experience in school is the school camp that was organised for us in Year 11 which took place in Langkawi and Penang. It was a very educational trip yet filled with fun and good company.

What were your favourite and least favourite subjects in school, and why? My favourite subject was Biology and my least favourite subject was Business. We had very interesting dissection sessions with cow’s eye that got everyone squirming in their seats. Business studies however was not very appealing to me.

What extracurricular activities did you do? Netball and Basketball.

What was the best thing about your school? What important lessons did you learn in your school that have helped you in your life? When I first started studying in AISM, I was introduced to the concept of using a diary to be organized in my work and it has now become a part of me to use a planner in my day to day activities, similar to the school diary as I find that it helps me keep track of what needs to be done and to be productive at the end of a day.

Describe your experience in school using three words. Engaging, Enlightening, Educational.

What advice would you give to current students of your alma mater? Have a positive learning attitude with maximum involvement in everything you can and not forgetting to have fun all the time so that your time in AISM would be a memorable part of your life.
