The first Book Week at EtonHouse International Preschool Melaka was a great success. All boys and girls have done a good job in making sure the event went on smoothly. All effort was put into the preparation; from crafts making to story telling and ended with a fun-get-together charity when the Salvation Army came to join the Book Week event and participated in some activities as well.
Children were taught to explore books, and became excited when teachers instructed them to choose any book they wanted. Their eagerness in reading books were shown through looking at the colorful pictures and asking questions. Several parents also came to give their support during the storytelling sessions.
On the last day of the event, Book Week was joined by children from the Lighthouse Children’s Home from Salvation Army Melaka. Fun-filled activities were lined up throughout the day and EtonHouse Melaka students got to make some new friends! Light refreshments were served to conclude an exciting Book Week!
