Sri KDU International Secondary School, Kota Damansara student elected as a Youth Councillor for the Petaling Jaya City Council

Introducing Chong Le Fan, a remarkable Year 10 student from Sri KDU International Secondary School, Kota Damansara campus whose extraordinary achievement deserves celebration!  

We are excited to share that Le Fan has been elected as a Youth Councillor for the  Petaling Jaya City Council, an organisation responsible for urban planning, public services, infrastructure maintenance, and community development. Moreover, Petaling Jaya has recently achieved the recognition of being Malaysia's First UNICEF Child-Friendly City. 

In her role, Le Fan will play a pivotal part in formulating and implementing innovative ideas and solutions, ensuring that the voices of all children are heard, and their rights are championed. The PJ City Council highly values the perspectives and contributions of our younger generation, as they strive to enhance the quality of life in Petaling Jaya.
