Year 5 students at Australian International School Malaysia baked, blended, and came up with healthy desserts recently. The Healthy Dessert Contests organised by the school nurse who advocates healthy eating and lifestyle took place for the second consecutive year. The winning desserts, “Spiced Apple Crisp” and “Fruit Pizza” were chosen by the school community during a lunchtime tasting session. The winners had their desserts placed in the school menu too! Students were extremely excited to try their hand at making their own dessert besides learning healthy eating options.
