Celebrating Success: Beaconhouse Preschool Gasing's IEYC Curriculum Launch
Petaling Jaya, May 4 2024—Beaconhouse Preschool Gasing is thrilled to announce the successful conclusion of its launch event, held on May 4th. The event, which showcased the introduction of the International Early Years Curriculum (IEYC) and various enhancements to the preschool's facilities, was met with enthusiastic participation from esteemed guests, partners, and attendees.
The launch event, themed ‘Carnival Celebration’, was a delightful occasion filled with joy, laughter, and memorable experiences. Honoured guests, including representatives from the Ministry of Education, local Council, members of the Resident Association, media personnel, and esteemed guests, graced the occasion, contributing to its grandeur.
Mr Basit Humayun, Regional Director for Southeast Asia at Beaconhouse Malaysia, highlighted the importance of reinvesting in Beaconhouse schools to ensure students receive unparalleled learning experiences. “Our students deserve nothing less than excellence. Let us reaffirm our commitment to reinvesting in our schools as we embrace this new IEYC curriculum”, he shared. Mr Basit further expressed his full confidence in the curriculum’s capacity to empower students with the resilience and confidence to thrive in an ever-evolving world.
Rafhanah Haneem, Head of School at Beaconhouse Preschool Gasing, emphasised the significance of the event and acknowledged the teachers’ professionalism and commitment. “Our teachers have undergone comprehensive training to ensure the seamless integration of this innovative curriculum," she remarked. At the event, attendees enjoyed various engaging activities, including games, face painting, balloon sculpting, a bouncy castle, and delicious food truck treats. Families gathered to celebrate and experience firsthand the vibrant and nurturing environment of Beaconhouse Preschool Gasing. Additionally, curious guests explored the newly renovated play area. It was designed to stimulate the children’s exploration, imagination, and sensory development. The unveiling of smart-screen TVs in classrooms further enhanced the learning experience, offering students access to multimedia resources and interactive educational content.
