Curriculum
In Cherie Hearts International, we strongly believe in developing every aspect of the child’s potential. We recognize the need to nurture children in a holistic way, developing them into resilient and lifelong learners. We understand that children learn far better through direct interactive experiences such as play and exploration. Hence our curriculum is crafted using an integration of conventional and modern approaches with an emphasis on the principle “The Best Learning Is Active Learning” to enhance the child’s learning ability.
There are two curriculum packages designed in-house: Jump Start Years Curriculum for the Playgroup 1 and 2 children and the Bridging Years Curriculum for Nursery, Kindergarten 1 and 2.
The Jump Start Years Curriculum introduces various learning experiences to develop children’s various intelligences identified in the areas of fine motor skills, gross motor skills, cognitive domain language acquisition and aesthetic and affective domains. The Bridging Years Curriculum enhances what the children have been exposed to in the Jump Start Years. Learning experiences to develop children’s various intelligences are provided in the areas of aesthetic & creative expression, environmental awareness, language & literacy, motor development, mathematical thinking and self & social awareness.
