Orbix International School makes strides by becoming the first school in Batu Pahat and Central Johore to offer the Cambridge International A Level Programme, as well as offering a comprehensive syllabus in Artificial Intelligence beginning 2021 . The Group is also now an approved Cambridge PDQ centre.

The Cambridge International A Level programme is the perfect launching pad for students to ready themselves for the challenges of university. Orbix International School in Batu Pahat will be the first school in the area to offer this programme, providing students with the necessary foundation for university and work life. Orbix schools offer lessons in Artificial Intelligence
The group is also excited to include Artificial Intelligence (AI) lessons in its curriculum. All Orbix schools will offer AI classes conducted by teachers and trainers from AI Academy, an associate company of the Orbix Education Group.
AI Academy’s comprehensive syllabus was devised in collaboration with iFLYTEK—a Chinese giant established in 1999, globally recognised as a market leader in AI technology. It is the first school of its kind in South East Asia, developed in order to propel Malaysian students into their positions as future captains of industry in the realm of AI and is the first school in Malaysia to introduce AI in its syllabus.

AI Academy is solely dedicated to equipping young minds with the knowledge and skills of the world of artificial intelligence. To put it in the simplest terms, artificial intelligence is a section of computer science that focuses specifically on allowing machinery to simulate the natural intelligence of humans and animals. This wide-ranging field of study includes coding, programming, natural language processing, big data analysis and machine learning. Along with this are lessons in the history and evolution of artificial intelligence, as well as the complex nature of ethics and security that surround its function.
Laboratories at AI Academy are furnished with state-of-the-art equipment to enhance students’ learning and is so advanced that it provides feedback to teachers, allowing them to detect specific strengths or weaknesses, thus improving their own teaching methods in order to bring out the best in their students. Lessons are offered to students at Orbix within the school’s syllabus, while members of the public will have the opportunity to learn all about AI on the weekends.
