Nexus Attracts Regional IPC Educators and Leaders for the 3rd Year Running

Nexus International School Putrajaya (Nexus), recognized as a Mastering Level school by the International Primary Curriculum (IPC), hosted the South East Asia IPC Regional Conference from 4 to 6 March at its extensive Putrajaya campus.
IPC leaders, regional educators and pedagogical experts took the opportunity to network, share viewpoints, attend workshops and the chance to experience an IPC Mastering Level school in action.
Over 80 teachers from South East Asia participated in a wide variety of courses and workshops over the three days. Subjects covered included everything from “getting to grips” with the IPC, to assessment, to a showcase of pedagogical strategies and ideas from the practitioners at Nexus.
David Griffiths, Head of Primary at Nexus, acknowledges the importance of constantly improving the knowledge and skills of teachers to enable children to be challenged appropriately in a vigorous and engaging way.
“The IPC, when used skillfully by IPC-recognized professional teachers, is an engaging and relevant curriculum for learning in the 21st Century.”
Sarah Brown, Head of IPC, says, "As one of only a handful of schools accredited at Mastering Level in the use of IPC, it was a privilege to be able to get into classrooms and other learning spaces to witness the learning that was taking place."
