What are your hobbies? Learning new things, reading, making short films.

What are your favourite subjects? Physics.

What kinds of extracurricular activities do you do? Community service, football, public speaking.

Who is your favourite teacher and why? I have too many favourite teachers, but for now, I’ll just name two. Ms Mangin. She is extremely clear with her teaching and always pushes us to achieve our potential. Her balance of hard work and humour is perfect. She cares deeply about her students on a level beyond academia. I could not have asked for a better Maths teacher. Mr Netcher. The amount of effort put into every class to ensure the quality of teaching and quality of content is exceptional. He always develops our core understanding of a topic and enriches us with extension questions to deepen our understanding. His care for students and ensuring each and every one excels also does not go unrecognised.

What is the one thing that you like the most about your school? The amplitude of opportunities given to me, to pick and choose what I want to get involved in.

Share a memorable experience in your school so far. The Christmas Refugee Sports Day. A team of student leaders and I held an event for our local Myanmar refugees, where they got to experience a variety of activities and just have fun. Very gratifying to be doing good for our community on such a large scale.

What is the best thing about being a student? The freedom to explore and learn new things wholeheartedly.

What do you hope to do when you finish school? Go to university and learn Physics!
