Australian International School Malaysia (AISM) is proud and excited to announce Mr Liam King as our new Principal, commencing in January 2020.
As an accomplished and highly experienced educator, Mr King has a Diploma of Teaching and Bachelor of Education from the Australian Catholic University. He has a Graduate Diploma in Education Administration; a Graduate Diploma in Curriculum; a Master of Education (Research) and Master of Education (Leadership & Management) from The University of Melbourne.
Prior to his appointment as Principal of AISM, Mr King was the Deputy Principal at Kingswood College in Melbourne. He has also been the Principal of Stamford American International School and Deputy Principal of the Australian International School in Singapore. Mr King has been responsible for the development and implementation of curriculum policy and programs from Kindergarten to Year 12. One of the highlights has been the implementation of unique learning and teaching framework to equip students for the 22nd Century Learning called the LATTICE Framework (Learning and Teaching through Innovation, Collaboration and Engagement).
Mr King will be an outstanding Principal for AISM in his passion for education, his pro-active administration style, his energy and empathy for our students and their well-being. As AISM celebrates 20 years of Taylor’s Education, we usher in new beginnings under Mr King’s guidance.
