Team Handball marked the arrival of intra-school sport at Excelsior International School (EIS) during the first two weeks in April. All students were assigned to one of four colour teams so that the games could begin. The Grade 4 & 5 co-ed competition got the ball rolling and was followed by the boys and girls events for the Grade 6, 7 & 8 students. All matches were keenly contested and enthusiastically supported with good play evidenced by all teams. The tournaments were full of action with end-to-end excitement enthralling the cheering spectators. Some excellent goal-keeping displays meant that scores were close and no team was able to record an easy win. Congratulations to all those who made this opening event so successful!
The inter-squad action continues with the swimming competition on 28th. May and the football tournaments on 23rd June.
