In our recent English unit Let's go to London!, Year 1 has been exploring the capital city of England and the United Kingdom, learning about some of the famous landmarks and using descriptive language.
The children took the opportunity to write postcards to describe their visit, and we had the idea to adapt these into real postcards that they could send to their parents!
Our TIPS school secretary, Ms Nadia, took a trip to POS Malaysia for us and posted our postcards on our behalf. We decided to keep it a secret so that the Year 1 parents would get a lovely surprise in their mail the following week!
