In February, OIS hosted a meeting of over 30 heads of schools from the Association of International Malaysian Schools (AIMS), an organization dedicated to advancing international education in Malaysia.
OIS, being a part of AIMS, actively participates in collaborative efforts with its colleagues through the sharing of best practices, organizing job-alike workshops, and providing sports opportunities for its students. The recent hosting of the first face-to-face AIMS meeting by OIS after a hiatus of three years was a matter of great excitement. The event facilitated important connections between school leaders, which are crucial for building strong relationships and ensuring that each campus is able to provide a safe and fulfilling environment for their respective communities. OIS, along with other schools, is committed to initiatives that focus on professional development and child safeguarding. The final AMIS meeting of the school year will be in Penang hosted by Straits International School.
