Taylor’s International School Unveils Its Pioneer Campus!

TISKL Balloons 1On 6 January 2014, 1,600 students and their teachers started their first day of school in the beautiful, newly-renovated Kuala Lumpur campus of Taylor’s International School. 

The impressive campus was unveiled for the very first time to the school community and the public with a small ceremony. The atmosphere was celebratory as this day marks the day the school completes its transformation from Sri Garden International to Taylor’s International School, Kuala Lumpur (TISKL).

Mr. Peter Wells, Principal of Taylor’s International School, Kuala Lumpur remarked, “After many years of careful planning and hard work from all the parties involved, I am proud to welcome you to Taylor’s International School, Kuala Lumpur.”  He added, “The amazing transformation you see today is not merely the school façade, but more importantly, the constant improvement in our teaching principles and learning pedagogies within the classrooms.”

Mr. Wells then introduced the new Taylor’s International School anthem, ‘Taylor’s, Finest in the World’ which was harmoniously performed by the School Choir.

In his brief note, Mr. BK Gan, President of Taylor’s Schools, said, “With the exciting birth of Taylor’s International School, Kuala Lumpur, the students can now enjoy a seamless education pathway from Pre-School through to University with the Taylor’s Education Group.”

 

The highlight of the event took place when Dato’ Loy Teik Ngan, Group CEO of Taylor’s Education Group, declared the campus open, released the balloons and warmly welcomed the students and parents to Taylor’s International School, Kuala Lumpur.

 

Ms. Juli Law, a parent, commented, “The new school layout looks very impressive and vibrant.” Her son Kenneth Mok, a Year 6 student, said that he and his friends look forward to studying and learning in the beautiful school.

 

Another parent, Ms. Geetha, remarked that the school has improved by leaps and bounds over the years and she is amazed by the latest transformation of the school building and facilities. Ms. Geetha has two children in Year 6 and Year 8 respectively.

For 10-year-old Tong Jian Wen in Year 5, the new campus grounds will provide more space and shade for playing and studying with his friends. He added, ”I love to spend time with my friends in the school and the new colours of the school are very bright and nice.”

 

Excited to be back in school, Year 8 student Laura Lim mentioned, “I love the new look of the school as it has a stronger international school feel with more greenery in the landscape.” Her Year 8 classmate, Mitrrah, commented that she enjoys the new uniforms and bright open spaces in the campus.

Taylor’s International School, Kuala Lumpur is the first campus under Taylor’s International School followed by a second campus in Puchong, opening in January 2015.
