Five Items By Lou Lou James You Need in Your Home

The pandemic has impacted our lifestyle, where eating out is not as simple as it was before due to safety precautions. Instead, it has led most of us to try out new recipes in the comfort of our own kitchen. Wouldn’t it be great to have your young ones by your side while you cook a wholesome meal for the family?

However, the kitchen can be quite a dangerous place for toddlers. Fret not, the local brand Lou Lou James, founded by Esther Ng in 2020, has created child-friendly items that you should have at home.

1.  ALTA Learning Tower

The Learning Tower, handcrafted by local carpenters, is the main product that inspired Esther to create her brand. Functioning as a step-up platform, your child can do all sorts of fun activities on it. Attached to both sides are multipurpose stainless steel hand bars, which your child can hold on to if they need extra support, and it can even be used as a towel hanger.

The tower is made from a form of engineered wood, known as medium-density fibreboard (MDF), with the option of either Gotham Black or Frozen White. There is also an option that comes in Woody Raw, made of eco-friendly rubber wood. It is also 3-step adjustable and is suitable for children of aged 18 months and above.

2.  Dolce Gomma Silicone Kitchen Utensils Set

While you are cooking, your kids can mimic you with their own personal kitchen utensils. Child-friendly ones of course! These cute utensils are made of food grade silicone and is BPA-free.

There are five pieces in this set, which consists of a whisk, a spatula, a brush, a spoon and tongs. It comes in two different colours, either Squid Ink Black or Bubbagum Pink.

3. Sprinky Mini Rolling Pin and Lou Lou Silicone Placemat

Aside from cooking, kids can learn to bake with Lou Lou James as well. With the mini rolling pin and silicone placemat, kids can help out with the preparation of the dough before you bake those yummy treats.

The colorful sprinkle patterned rolling pin is made of food grade silicone, while the handles, engraved with the brand’s name, is made of wood. On the other hand, the size of the mat is 50cm, also made of food grade silicone. It comes in grey, with the Lou Lou James logo printed on it.

4. Lou Apron & Hat Set

Play time in the kitchen would of course leave a mess. To ensure that the kids do not stain their clothing and that their hair stays in place, Lou Lou James has created an adorable apron and chef hat set. Your little one would be looking like a real chef!

The set comes in either Signature Black or Classy White, with the brand and logo printed on the pieces.

5.  ‘Primo Phonics’ Learning Box

After a fun day of cooking, you can let your children learn the alphabet with this colourful flashcard set from The Mini School™ collection.
