About Tanarata International Schools
Tanarata International Schools (or TiS), is a full facilities school modeled on the British Cambridge University Curriculum leading to the IGCSE qualifications. The school, started in 2007, is located just south of Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia and caters to students living mainly in Kajang, Bangi, Putrajaya, Kuala Lumpur and various parts of the Klang Valley.
The school has a multicultural, multiracial and multinational community having its roots in Malaysia with its unique blend of cultures and history of dynamic international, inter-ethnic exchange with its community consisting of students of both genders aged 5+ to 16 years old.
The school believes in the development of well-rounded educated individuals that are well-grounded and ethically sound so as to be able to contribute actively to the community at large in a positive manner. It favours the methods of teaching which foster the joy and excitement of learning, discovery and enquiry, and which develop the faculties – intellectual, aesthetic, emotional and physical. It is the school’s contention that happy, well-balanced individuals who take strength from such a community, make an invaluable contribution to the world in which we live. The school also provides a broad spectrum of education disciplines and activities, hence the number and variety of subjects and activities available in School.
