List of International Primary Schools in Malaysia

Children enter national primary schools in Malaysia at age seven. Primary education is compulsory for all Malaysian children. Generally, children will be in primary school for six years. At the end of Standard 6, children aged 12 will sit for the Ujian Pencapaian Sekolah Rendah (UPSR) or Primary School Achievement Test. On the other hand, the beginning of primary education at international schools depend on the curriculum offered by the respective schools. Typically, children will enter the first year of primary school at international schools at the age of five.
