About Tunku Putra-HELP School

Named after the first Prime Minister of Malaysia, Tunku Abdul Rahman Putra Al-Haj, Tunku Putra School was set up by Cahya Mata Sarawak Berhad (CMSB) in 1996 as the first international school in Sarawak. 26 years later, the School has grown to over 600 students, represented by 20 nationalities. 

In March 2018, CMSB collaborated with the HELP Education Group and Ibraco Berhad, to embark on an exciting journey in education growth by establishing the Tunku Putra-HELP in Kuching. Located strategically in the NorthBank, Tabuan Jaya, the residential heart of Kuching, the school's new purpose-built campus can accommodate up to 1,500 students. 

At Tunku Putra-HELP, we strive to develop individuals of integrity, compassionate citizens, curious minds and dynamic thinkers, and flexible learners for the future. We imbue our students with the courage to imagine, the faith to believe, and the strength to achieve. We believe that schools must go beyond academic subjects, and aim to equip students with skills needed for the 21st century to enable them to become true global citizens. We encourage our students to explore various areas of development delivered through our holistic curriculum focusing on 9 areas, Tunku Putra-HELP utilises the International Primary Curriculum and is the first school in Kuching and the 35th school in the world to receive this esteemed accreditation.

Our 2022 Form 5 exam results have been the best in the history of our school, with us beating the national and Sarawakians averages. This has been due to the dedication of our excellent educators who have sacrificed extra time and effort to ensure the children are prepared for exams.
