Meet Mr Shadiq Shittu, History Teacher for Secondary International School.
Mr Sadiq graduated with a bachelor’s degree in History and International Studies from Lagos State University, a Master’s degree in History and Strategic Studies from the University of Lagos, and a Professional Diploma in Education from Corona College of Education, Lagos (Nigeria). He has been one of the lead teachers of the UK National Curriculum History and IGCSE History at Greensprings School Lekki (Nigeria) since September 2014. Sadiq also teaches the IGCSE Global Perspectives syllabus. One of his former students presented for the May/June 2019 IGCSE Examinations got the CIE ‘Top in the Country Award’ for History in Nigeria.
Alongside his work as a teacher, Mr Sadiq is also an approved examiner with the IBO, CIE, and OCR. As a history examiner with the International Baccalaureate Organisation (IBO), he has risen to the position of Team Leader for the IBDP History Paper One.
