Stonyhurst International School Penang is pleased to announce that applications for the 2026/27 Sixth Form (A Level Entry) Scholarship are now open. Rooted in the Ignatian tradition of forming “Men and Women for Others,” the Scholarship reflects the School’s commitment to transforming lives through education, service, and community.
At the heart of this initiative is the Stonyhurst Scholarship Foundation, a donor-funded and investment-supported charity that operates completely independently of Stonyhurst Penang. Guided by a spirit of generosity, the Foundation’s benefactors make it possible for deserving young people—regardless of financial circumstances—to access a world-class A Level education. The School expresses deep gratitude to the Foundation and its donors, whose commitment to giving enables this transformative opportunity to thrive.
The Scholarship is open to current Stonyhurst pupils, Malaysian students, and international applicants, with priority given to local pupils who demonstrate financial need. Scholars may receive support for tuition fees, textbooks, uniforms, examination fees, and—where applicable—boarding, meals, and school trips.
The selection process is overseen exclusively by the Scholarship Foundation Committee, ensuring fairness and transparency. No member of the School sits on the Committee, and all decisions are made independently.
Applications close on 5 January 2026, with initial assessments scheduled for 17 January 2026. Final awards will be announced in March, and successful scholars will be honoured during Stonyhurst Penang’s Prize Giving ceremony in June 2026.
