Published on 03 Oct 2021
News
In Math, we investigated Properties of Shapes. Last week, we looked into Reasoning about 3D shapes.
Students were given a home learning task to make a model of 3D paper shapes. This exercise ensures that students have a secure understanding of the language associated with the properties of 3D shapes. For example, faces, curved surfaces, vertices, edges etc.
Students also looked at properties of 3D shapes from 2D projections, including plans and elevations.
