Throwback: Breast Cancer Awareness Month
In conjunction with Breast Cancer Awareness Month, our Student Council of Tenby Schools Setia Eco Gardens (Johor), and Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) organised a Breast Cancer Awareness webinar.
The webinar was attended by over 190 people from our community. It was a great turnout for an educational webinar that created more awareness among the members of our community about the prevalence of breast cancer. Attendees learned about how early detection of breast cancer can save lives and served as a good reminder for the importance of doing regular check-ups.
The webinar featured Dr. Sandip Kumar - General and Colorectal Surgeon and Nurse Khaireen from Tenby SEG, whose presentation covered what breast cancer is, the importance and methods of doing early breast cancer detection, and the various treatment options.
