As September arrived, the school gates opened to a brand new beginning. Alhamdulillah, our beloved students stepped into campus with cheerful salaams, bright smiles, and backpacks full of excitement as the 2025/2026 academic year officially began at IDRISSI International School.
This year felt especially meaningful. Alongside welcoming familiar faces and new friends, we also celebrated fresh beginnings across our campuses in Setia Alam, Johor Bahru, and Bukit Jelutong—each one carrying the same spirit of care, learning, and growth.
So, what was new this year? Let’s take a little tour together
Setia Alam: A Fresh Glow-Up
At our Setia Alam campus, the school environment has received a delightful refresh.
Preschool classrooms are alive with the laughter and curiosity of little learners, exploring their surroundings and discovering the joy of learning. The reading corners, bathed in natural sunlight, have transformed storytime into a magical experience, encouraging children to fall in love with books from an early age.
The library, once a quiet room of shelves, now bursts with energy, allowing students to immerse themselves in stories that spark imagination and creativity. Outdoor learning continues to flourish at Setia Alam, where lessons by the pond, garden, and walkways let students connect with nature while solving real-life challenges.
The newly upgraded art studio and refreshed futsal and netball courts further enhance creativity, teamwork, and physical activity, making the campus a vibrant hub of growth and exploration.
Johor Bahru: Growing Stronger Together
In Johor Bahru, the new academic year marks a period of growth and nurturing. Our students enjoy guidance from a dedicated librarian, fostering a love for reading and curiosity across all age groups.
Preschoolers are embracing their new playroom, designed to encourage imagination, social skills, and joyful learning.
For the first time, our Johor campus also has a health assistant to support children’s wellbeing and provide first aid when needed, reflecting our commitment to a safe and caring school environment.
Spiritual development is equally important, and introducing Solat Dhuha in congregation allows students and teachers to begin their mornings with reflection and prayer, setting a meaningful tone for the day and reinforcing the core Islamic values at the heart of our school.
Bukit Jelutong: A Brand-New Home
The biggest highlight this year is the official opening of our Bukit Jelutong campus, Alhamdulillah!
The first day was filled with butterflies (and plenty of footsteps echoing during the school tour), but those nerves quickly faded as soon as students reconnected with their friends and teachers.
Our rooftop pickleball court has already become a hit, sports, laughter, and breathtaking views all rolled into one. And here’s the best part: this is only the beginning. More exciting spaces are on the way, inshaAllah!
Grateful for Every Blessing
Looking at all these developments, it is clear that none of this would have been possible without Allah’s guidance. Every classroom, every upgraded corner, every library book, and every smiling child is a reminder of His mercy.
