[Baseerah International School] Fire Drill & CPR Training

On 11 September, Baseerah International School organised a fire drill and CPR training session as part of its ongoing commitment to student safety and holistic development. The initiative was designed to raise awareness among students about the importance of being prepared for emergencies, while also giving them practical skills they can carry for life. Both teachers and staff played a key role in guiding the sessions, ensuring that every child had the opportunity to learn in a safe and supportive environment.

The program began with a simulated fire drill exercise. Students were guided step by step on how to evacuate classrooms quickly and calmly, following the instructions of their teachers with discipline and focus. After the fire drill, the focus shifted towards CPR training, conducted by experienced members of St. John Ambulance. In this session, students were introduced to the importance of cardiopulmonary resuscitation as a vital life-saving technique. Trainers demonstrated the correct methods and gave students the chance to practice under guidance, allowing them to experience the seriousness and responsibility that comes with such skills. For many, it was their first time engaging in this kind of practical, hands-on training.
