There’s something truly magical about watching a child grow. A memorable transformation that begins quietly and grows with every new day.

As educators and parents, we are blessed with the rare and meaningful privilege of witnessing this journey closely. Today, as we look at our graduating Grade 11 class, we don’t just see the accomplished young adults awaiting and ready to soar on their journey forward; we see flashbacks to the time they were little children, walking through our doors, their little hands grasping tightly on to their parents, their little eyes sparkling with wonder and excitement all at once.
For many of these students, Seven Skies has been a second home for over a decade. We remember the days of finger painting, of learning their very first words, of scraped knees on the field that were quickly healed with a comforting word. We remember the shy whispers that grew into confident classroom debates, the timid first steps on the stage that blossomed into commanding performances, and the simple questions that evolved into complex, astute inquiries about the world.
Their journey has been our journey as well. We have had the honour of providing their soil in which they could plant roots, feel safe, and grow deep. Our early years programme built on the philosophy that a child who feels seen, heard, and cherished is a child who is ready to learn. We watched these very graduates embody that belief, building a foundation of strong Islamic pillars and confidence that would carry them through their primary and secondary school years as well.
They navigated the challenges of growing up within these supportive walls. They learned to collaborate on projects, to lead their peers with empathy, to celebrate each other’s victories, and to support one another through defeat. They discovered their passions here, through these very halls, discovering it whether in the science lab, on the sports field, in the art room, or through the various field trips, bootcamps and other programmes conducted by the character development curriculum. Our role was not just to teach them subjects from a curriculum, but to nurture the spark within each student, helping them discover who they are and who they want to become.
To see them now, on the cusp of their university adventures is the ultimate fulfillment of our mission. They are not just academically prepared; they are compassionate, resilient, and well-rounded individuals. They are the artists, the scientists, the leaders, and the innovators of tomorrow, leaving our nest with the values of respect, integrity, and lifelong learning instilled in their hearts.
