The simple but profound mission of HELP International School (HIS) is encapsulated its school motto: “Vita ad plenitudinem”, a Latin phrase which translates as “Life in all its fullness”.
Established in 2014 in the pristine residential enclave of Subang Bestari, HELP International School strives to provide an educational experience that inspires and enables students to live full lives, relishing the challenges and seizing the opportunities that the world has to offer, and finding meaning and enjoyment in all of their endeavors.
“Learning is exponential when kids can enjoy,” explained HIS Principal Dr Gerard Louis, “We believe that students should enjoy all aspects of learning even those beyond the classroom. School should not only be about academic rigor and achievement. We want our students to develop holistically, to learn how to build relationships and appreciate different cultures, to pursue their passions in sports and the arts, to cultivate intellectual curiosity and strong values, and to discover all their talents and reach their full potential.”
HELP International School is part of the HELP Group, one of the most established names in the education industry in Southeast Asia with a history stretching back 27 years. The HELP Group consists of four tertiary institutions and HIS, which together educate more than 11,000 students from 80 different countries.
A RICH AND ROBUST CURRICULUM

HIS offers education from preschool all the way to pre-university. In Primary School, HIS utilizes the International Primary Curriculum (IPC) – a comprehensive, thematic, creative curriculum that places an emphasis on international mindedness and personalized learning – supplemented by the Singapore Curriculum for mathematics and science, and intensive language instruction.
In Secondary School, HIS uses the UK Curriculum, which gives students exposure to a broad range of subjects so that they can experience different academic disciplines, develop their talents and learn more about their own strengths. In Years 10 and 11, students follow IGCSE courses, leading to the award of prestigious, internationally recognized certificates from either Cambridge International Examinations (CIE) or Edexcel, and then proceed to take Cambridge A Levels, a springboard to success at the university level.
Throughout their educational journey at HIS, students are encouraged to pursue their passions and interests, not only academically, but also through an extensive extra- and co-curricular program.
FIRST-CLASS FACULTY AND FACILITIES

HIS boasts a dream team of dedicated, qualified and experienced teachers from all over the world, who work tirelessly to ensure students receive a truly holistic and global educational experience.
“No school will exceed the quality of its teachers and leadership,” remarked Dr Louis, “We got our recruitment right and have assembled a wonderful team of educators from all over the world.”
The school’s new purpose-built campus reflects its overall values and vision by providing an environment where students can find fun and fulfillment in learning.
Student-centered learning spaces equipped with the latest technology, spacious playgrounds, comprehensive sporting facilities, a deli-style canteen, a black box theater, a swimming pool, state-of-the art science labs and a huge library are just some of the facilities that HIS has to offer.
“We have created a safe environment where children can explore, pushing boundaries for themselves, and really enjoy their educational experience,” said Dr Louis.
HELP International School is dedicated to ensuring that all students enjoy full school lives, which will ultimately prepare them to have full lives as adults.
“School is preparation for the workplace,” remarked Dr Louis, “Students must not only be academically qualified, but workplace competent. At HIS, we focus on developing competencies for the 21st century workplace.”
