Lower Primary Drama Day Shines with Student-Written Performances
At Nilai International School, the lights dimmed, the curtains opened, and the magic began—Lower Primary Drama Day was nothing short of spectacular! What made this year’s event truly unforgettable was the unique twist: every drama performed was written entirely by the students themselves.
From brainstorming story ideas to crafting engaging dialogues, our young playwrights took full ownership of the creative process. They decided on characters, sketched out settings, shaped storylines, and brought their visions to life through passionate performances. Their imagination soared—from enchanted forests and time machines to detective mysteries and talking animals.
More than just a showcase of acting talent, this event celebrated creativity, teamwork, and self-expression. Students collaborated in groups to write, rehearse, and polish their performances. Along the way, they strengthened their storytelling skills, gained confidence, and discovered the power of their own voices.
Lower Primary Drama Day was not only a celebration of the arts—it was a proud reminder of what NIS students can achieve when given the chance to lead their own learning. With scripts in hand and dreams on stage, our young stars truly stole the show!
