Sunway International School To Open In Sunway Iskandar In 2017!

-       Special bursary for registration between January 2015 and June 2016

Sunway, the Master Community Developer, announced its upcoming Sunway Iskandar plans with the introduction of the Sunway International School (SIS) Sunway Iskandar.

Scheduled for its first intake in 2017, SIS Sunway Iskandar will be the only school in Iskandar, Johor to offer the Canadian (Ontario) curriculum – rated as one of the world’s best school systems. The school is also a candidate school for the International Baccalaureate Diploma Program (IBDP).

Pre-enrolment for the new campus will begin in January 2015 onwards for pre-school right up to pre-university. SIS Sunway Iskandar will also provide the International Baccalaureate (IB) education framework for its pre-university students.

During the event, both Sunway Property and Sunway Education Group collectively announced its special bursary program, presenting attractive benefits to early birds of the property and school. Children of any Sunway Iskandar buyers will be entitled to a bursary program upon qualifying all the terms and conditions.

SIS Sunway Iskandar will also offer a special bursary of RM 10,000 to all student enrolment. The bursaries are valid for 24 months from the date of the school’s opening and applicants are eligible to both special bursaries upon qualifying all the terms and conditions.

With English as the medium, SIS Sunway Iskandar will be fully taught by Canadian certified teachers and IB certified educators. SIS is also the first international school to implement a full laptop-program.

Strategically located in the heart of Medini, the education institution will seamlessly connect with major highways enabling greater connectivity into Johor Bahru, Iskandar and Singapore. The completion of the Coastal Highway Southern Link (CHSL) in 2017 will further provide direct access to the new campus as it will only take five minutes for residents and visitors to arrive in Sunway Iskandar.
