XCL Education Malaysia Students Shine with Outstanding 2025 A-Level and IGCSE Results

Sri KDU and REAL Schools reaffirm their reputation for academic excellence, with top grades across core subjects and record university placements worldwide.

XCL Education Malaysia proudly celebrates an outstanding year of academic success, with students from Sri KDU and REAL Schools excelling at both A-Levels and IGCSEs, once again proving the group’s unwavering commitment to delivering Top Academic Outcomes to families.

A-Levels: A Launchpad to Global Excellence
The 2025 A-Level cohort achieved exceptional results that reflect the strength of teaching and learning across XCL schools. Of the 34 students across Sri KDU International Schools in Kota Damansara, Subang Jaya, and Penang, nearly one in three (29%) achieved at least three A*/A grades, demonstrating academic mastery in key subjects such as Chemistry, Physics, Computer Science, and Further Mathematics.

Sri KDU International School Subang Jaya leads the group’s performance, with a GPA of 1.69 and almost half its candidates achieving three A*/A grades or more.

Beyond outstanding grades, what truly sets this cohort apart is where those results are taking them. Already, 50% of our A-Level graduates are headed to top-ranked global universities in the UK, US, and Australia. The majority of our students are heading to the prestigious Russell Group universities in the UK, including the University of Manchester, Imperial College London, University College London, and the University of Warwick.

Our students’ successes stretch across the globe: from the University of Texas and Temple University in the United States, to the University of Sydney and Monash University in Australia, reflecting the international recognition of the quality of an XCL education. These pathways represent not just academic achievements, but the launchpad to lifelong success in fields such as Computer Science, Biology, and Medical Sciences.

IGCSE: A Strong Foundation for Future Success
At the IGCSE level, achievement was equally remarkable. Out of 344 candidates, more than half (51%) achieved A* - A grades, while 25% secured A* grades alone. An impressive 50 students attained at least nine A*/A grades, underscoring the depth of talent and dedication across the group.

Performance was consistently strong across key subjects. In languages, students excelled with 94% achieving A*-A in Chinese as a Foreign Language and 76% in Malay as a Foreign Language, reflecting the group’s emphasis on multilingual proficiency. In core academic subjects, Physics and English First Language recorded close to 60% A* - A each, while half of all Mathematics candidates secured A*- A — evidence of a strong grounding in STEM and literacy.

Among the schools, Sri KDU International School Kota Damansara stood out as a leader, with 34 out of 124 students achieving 9 A*/A each, with 60% of all sitting achieving A*- A. The school achieved an average GPA of 1.41, setting a benchmark of excellence for the group.
