Mint Communications has achieved a major milestone — officially recognised by the Malaysia Book of Records for organising the Largest International School Fair in Malaysia.
The certificate of recognition was presented to the founders Nickie Yew and Dr. Michele Lam during the 23rd Private & International School Fair (PISF) in Kuala Lumpur on 2 November 2025. This milestone celebrates more than a decade of dedication to connecting families with quality private education opportunities through the PISFs.
From One City to Nationwide Growth
Since its debut in 2012, PISF has grown from a single event in Kuala Lumpur to a series of highly anticipated annual fairs in Johor, Penang, and Kuala Lumpur.
What began as a pioneering effort to serve as a bridge between parents and schools has evolved into the most trusted platform for families seeking international education options. Today, Johor hosts three fairs each year — in Johor Bahru and Iskandar Puteri, reflecting the strong demand for quality international education options in the southern region.
Over the years, PISF has welcomed more than 350,000 visitors, including parents, students, educators, and education providers, and continues to provide a one-stop avenue for discovering schools, programmes, and enrichment opportunities that meet diverse learning needs.

Highlights from the 23rd PISF Kuala Lumpur
The 23rd PISF Kuala Lumpur, held on 1–2 November 2025 at the Mid Valley Exhibition Centre, reaffirmed its standing as Malaysia’s first and largest platform for private and international education. The two-day event brought together over 70 exhibitors, including some of Malaysia’s leading international schools such as XCL Education (Sri KDU and REAL Schools), Taylor’s International School, HELP International School, Ace Edventure Group (Dwi Emas International School, Sri Emas International School and MITstem International School), Honsbridge International School, Beaconhouse Schools, Campus Rangers International School, ISP Schools (Tenby and Asia Pacific Schools), and many more.
Families also had the chance to meet representatives from boarding schools such as Concord College International School, Fairview International School, Maple Leaf Kingsley International School, Sunway International School, Westlake International School and UCSI International School as well as learning centres, preschools, and special education providers.
One of this year’s highlights was the Islamic Pavilion, featuring schools that combine academic excellence with Islamic values, including Seven Skies Islamic International School, International Islamic School Malaysia (IISM), Sekolah Tinta, IDRISSI International School, and Maahad Tahfiz Negeri Pahang.
Families also enjoyed the activities by STEM4All Makerspace within the fair’s Fun Kids Explorer segment. Launched in May 2025, the Fun Kids Explorer segment offers interactive hands-on activities that inspire curiosity, and foster learning and confidence in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) from an early age. Student performances in music and dance added colour and energy throughout the weekend, reflecting the vibrant learning cultures of the participating schools.
Powered by Strong Support
The fair’s success was made possible through the support of sponsors, including MK Land, SanDisk, and Ikonik Eye Specialist Centre, alongside Golden Screen Cinemas, Spritzer and Hoppi. Their contributions helped create a family-friendly atmosphere filled with performances, activities and other engaging experiences for visitors.
