Tenby Schools Setia Eco Park’s Fencing Glory
Four students from Tenby International School Setia Eco Park participated in the 2014 Jaya Shopping Centre (JSC) Touche Junior Fencing Championship, which was held on Sunday, 28 September 2014. They did the school proud in both the Under 10 and Under 9 Mixed Boys & Girls Foil categories and displayed the Tenby spirit impressively!
In the Under 10 category, Philippa Jean Ong Ziyi from Year 6E was crowned the Girl’s Champion and Gold Medal winner, while Tengku Amran Sharif from Year 6N was crowned the Boy’s Champion and Gold Medal winner. Ian Zafir Harris from Year 5E was awarded the 1st Runner Up and Silver Medal winner.
In the Under 9 category, Tengku Amir Mahmud from Year 4E was awarded 1st Runner Up and Silver Medal winner.
The school is very proud of its students and looks forward to more successes in fencing in the future.
