Art has the power to inspire, and we are beyond honoured to have a breathtaking mural painted by renowned Hong Kong artist, 𝗟𝗼𝘂𝗶𝘀 𝗧𝗼 𝗪𝘂𝗻, right here on our school walls! 🎨
Louis To Wun is a master of both traditional and contemporary art, blending elements of Chinese and Western painting, sculpture, and even candy and bamboo sculpting - two ancient crafts of intangible cultural heritage that he has reimagined in modern ways. 𝗔𝗻𝗱 𝗻𝗼𝘄, 𝗵𝗲 𝗵𝗮𝘀 𝗯𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗺𝗮𝗴𝗶𝗰 𝘁𝗼 𝘂𝘀! ✨
This mural is more than just a painting - it’s a story, an experience, and a spark for imagination. 🚀 He masterfully weaves together 𝗻𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲, 𝗵𝘂𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆, and 𝘁𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝘆, with familiar Malaysian landmarks like the Petronas Twin Towers, alongside whimsical surprises like a UFO, which represents the boundless creativity of young minds.
But here’s the catch - you have to look closely! 👀
Step right up, and you might just spot tiny humans climbing hills, bubbles floating through the air, or hidden Malaysian buildings in the background. Each person will see something different, and that’s the beauty of art — it speaks to you in your own unique way.
📍 𝗪𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗱 𝗶𝘁? Head over to the primary school lobby, near the staircase and let your imagination take flight. ✨
