A Season of Celebration, Reflection and New Beginnings

Sunshine, celebrations, and new beginnings. Summer is a season that naturally invites reflection, making it a fitting close to another academic year at Epsom.

As the year draws to an end, students look back on months of learning, achievement, friendship, and personal growth. Some milestones are easy to measure, while others are found in the quieter moments that shape everyday school life: new experiences, greater independence, and the confidence that develops over time.

For our graduating students, this season marks a particularly significant transition. Years of study, shared experiences, and memorable moments culminate in graduation as they prepare to begin the next stage of their journey pursuing higher education at leading universities across the UK, US, Europe, and Asia, including Oxford, Imperial, LSE, and UC Berkeley. While there is excitement for what lies ahead, it is also a time to recognise how far they have come and the community that has supported them along the way.

For younger students, summer marks a pause between one chapter and the next. It is an opportunity to step away from school life, enjoy time with family and friends, and reflect on the year that has passed before returning in the autumn for a new one. 

Within our boarding community, students depart for the holidays carrying with them memories of the year just passed and friendships that will continue long after term has ended. The boarding experience is defined not only by life in school, but also by the relationships, responsibilities, and shared experiences that become part of each student's story.

Although the academic year has concluded, Epsom will continue to welcome young learners throughout the summer. Through programmes such as British Summer School, Wild Minds Camp, Leadership Camp, Mandarin Immersion Camp, and K-Pop Camp, students from around the world will have the opportunity to learn new skills, explore their interests, and experience life within the Epsom community.

As another successful year comes to a close, we celebrate the efforts and achievements of every student and wish them a rewarding summer. We look forward to welcoming them back for the year ahead and to the new opportunities it will bring.
