It has been an incredible start of the year for Australian International School Malaysia (AISM) who celebrated their 20th anniversary. AISM is the longest established Australian international school in Malaysia. Success breeds success and AISM, as a leading international school, is invested in supporting students to strive for their goals and be the best they can be! Hence, in conjunction with AISM’s 20th Anniversary, AISM is offering 20 bursaries to deserving and aspiring students to ignite and build on their educational journey.
AISM aims to attract the brightest and most outstanding minds in Malaysia who are looking to take on the Higher School Certificate (HSC). Over the past 20 years, AISM has committed to guiding students to achieve their full potential and make a difference in the world - this year, to commemorate this special milestone, AISM is offering a bursary of a 100% Application Fee waiver, 20% Tuition Fee and Admission Fee waiver.
These bursaries will be granted to deserving and academically excellent students in recognition of their achievements. All applicants must be students who are currently not enrolled at AISM.
Flag Ceremony at Current School Site in 2001
Australian International School Malaysia was formed at the beginning of February 2000 to offer children a wholesome education to prepare them for the future. From temporary premises in the Country Heights estate, the School moved into its current purpose-built school in October 2003 with its dynamic learning environment and panoramic views of the countryside and lake at the Mines Resort City. In March 2007, the school secured its future by becoming part of the esteemed Taylor’s Education Group.
In early 2014, AISM celebrated its expansion with the opening of its new Junior School and Performing Arts Centre increasing the school's capacity to cater to more students - featuring open and flexible learning spaces that take learning beyond the classroom, as well as purpose-built rooms for dance, drama, music, orchestra, and even a black box theatre.
After two decades, AISM, which is the first Visible Learning School in the world, is well-established with approximately 500 students from Early Learning Years to Year 12. Sprawling over 7.5 acres of green space, the School offers its students of different nationalities primary and secondary education on the same campus, only 20 kilometres away from central Kuala Lumpur. AISM has grown to offer a wide range of extracurricular activities. Students choose from athletic teams, team sports, swimming, robotics, STEM, forensic science, chess and many other clubs providing more than 70 co-curricular options.
AISM is now opening a world of possibilities for well-rounded students who have excellent academic achievements and outstanding leadership skills to pursue their educational aspirations. These bursaries are offered to applicants who are looking to be part of the AISM community. This is your chance to fulfill your academic dreams at the leading Australian school in Malaysia. Applications will close on 31 July 2020.
