The sporting event is Singapore’s favourite multi-sport challenge and has categories suitable for all ages and levels. This March, two other AISM students including Tania competed in a duathlon which was a 750m run, a 5km bike ride and finally finishing off with another 750m run. For several years, Tania, who is a Year 5 student at AISM, has successfully competed and won medals in major sporting events such as the International Schools Athletic Conference (ISAC) and Majlis Sukan Sukan (MSS) Selangor State Championships. She is also one of AISM’s Hall of Excellence inductees which recognizes outstanding achievements in the sporting arena.
In addition to a rigorous academic program, the Australian International School Malaysia aims to provide all students with an enjoyable sporting experience that fosters an appreciation of the benefits of physical activity, competition and sportsmanship, the pursuit of excellence and fulfillment of individual potential. The school's sporting program forms a vital part of a student’s overall education.
