Creating a Secure and Supportive Environment: Epsom College Malaysia’s Focus on Student Well-being

The staff at Epsom complete a safeguarding qualification provided by Tes Develop, a recognised provider of safeguarding courses to schools in the UK and international market. They work collectively to ensure the safeguarding and wellbeing of students and members of the Epsom community.

The wellbeing and safety of all students is paramount. All staff take great care and pride in getting to know each student as an individual, and in respecting them for the unique qualities they bring to the community. Epsom has been named a Beacon for Student Welfare by the Council of British International Schools (COBIS).

SAFE & SECURE ENVIRONMENT
Epsom believes every student deserves to learn in a safe and supportive setting, free from harm or mistreatment. The school fosters an environment of trust and mutual responsibility, ensuring openness and care in all interactions. This includes very secure environment which has a 4-Tier Security System. 
 

MEDICAL SUPPORT
Epsom’s Medical Room and Sanatorium are staffed by registered Nurses 24 hours a day during term time. Each child must complete a series of forms informing the College about medical conditions, allergies, medications, and vaccinations. The records are reviewed and updated annually. Health and Safety is one of Epsom's utmost priorities, and the College continuously aims to maintain a high level of care for all students.

CONFIDENTIAL COUNSELLING
Epsom’s counsellors provide guidance and support on all manner of topics and also advise students and parents the rightful course of action if the student requires additional help
