Drama education has begun with a bang at Epsom College in Malaysia! Students of all ages are enjoying a variety of lessons in the school's brand new, state-of-the-art Theatre Studio; from preparation for English Speaking Board certificates in the prep school, all the way through to analysis of theatre practitioners and styles at IGCSE and A Level in preparation for practical coursework and written examinations. Students are additionally able to gain technical skills through access to high-tech LED stage lighting and sound equipment.
Students are also fully immersed in rehearsals for the school's first-ever school play which will be performed on 19th and 20th March: Arabian Nights. Students from all year in the senior school are writing sections of script, performing, making the costumes, designing the set, and running the technical aspects for the 600-seat auditorium.
