Our students recently participated in the Canon & Japan Foundation Filmmakers Workshop - a short film workshop for teenagers to nurture the next generation of filmmakers.
Over the course of five intensive days, our students were guided by Osaka-based Malaysian director Lim Kah Wai as they explored the full spectrum of filmmaking. From handling professional film equipment to experiencing life on set, they gained practical knowledge every step of the way. The workshop allowed them to actively engage in all aspects of production, from scriptwriting and filming to editing their own work.
Can't wait for their film premieres! In the meantime, check out this video of their journey, edited by our Media students!
