Come and visit Petrosains, an interactive science discovery center, and be amazed with what you can learn and explore there.
Located at Suria KLCC, Petrosains spans 7,000 square meters and is two levels high. It houses many exciting exhibition areas, from SPACE, where visitors can program a mini Mars Rover to roam over a simulated Martian landscape, in search of life on Mars, to GEOTIME DIORAMA to meet a ”singing” dinosaur and learn more about earthquakes, fossils and petroleum.

The highlight is the ”Oil Platform” area where you can experience being on an actual oil rig, and there is also SPEED, a special area for Formula 1 fans and SPARKZ, a tinkering area for the young and the young at heart.
To continuously provide visitors with new and fresh experiences, Petrosains regularly hosts visiting exhibitions and coming soon is the ”Illusion”, an exhibition that offers an insight into the human mind through an exploration of the motivations and mechanisms of sensory deception. In simpler terms, ”Illusion” will make you question what you see and will help you to investigate how perception underpins the way we see, feel, think and understand the world. ”Illusion” is developed by Science Gallery at Trinity College, Dublin and offers a diverse range of artworks or exhibits that deal with different types of illusions, from Significant Birds by Nye Parry, Cubes by Jennifer Townley and The Hurwitz Singularity by Jonty Hurwitz. All exhibits will deceive the senses, showing that what we perceive is often radically different from the reality of what our eyes observe or our ears hear.

The ”Illusion” exhibition was recently held in Charlotte, North Carolina and San Diego, California. Petrosains is its first venue in Asia, which makes it a MUST-VISIT exhibition. It will be at Petrosains from August 2015 and will remain until end of December 2015.
Come and experience it yourself at Petrosains!
