From Our Hallways to the Ton: Celebrating a Sri KDU Alumnus Star in Bridgerton

We are delighted to share a proud moment for our school community as alumnus Zheng Xi Yong appears in the latest season of Bridgerton.

Seeing a member of our alumni community step onto an international stage is a wonderful reminder of the diverse paths our learners take beyond graduation. While this milestone belongs entirely to Zheng and his hard work, it is a joy for our community to celebrate alongside him.

Reflecting on his time at Sri KDU, Zheng shared his appreciation for the opportunities he had as a student: “I had lots of opportunity to explore my love for the performing arts as a student at Sri KDU, and there was a real culture that supported and valued it.”

His journey is a meaningful source of inspiration for our current students; a reflection of how passion, dedication and courage can open doors to unexpected opportunities around the world.
