GAINS Education Group Sdn Bhd (GAINS), the holding company of IDRISSI International School and the provider of K-12 education services is taking global expansion with Atmosphere Projects WLL, Qatar (Atmosphere), a full-service construction and engineering solutions company. This cooperation is a private sector B2B initiative to build the first international school with British curriculum and Malaysian value-based education in Doha, the capital city of Qatar.
Following its strategic expansion plan, GAINS has now opened its new campus of IDRISSI International School in EduCity Iskandar Puteri, Johor and actively looking to establish a chain of premium schools in five years globally. As an award-winning school accredited by Cambridge Assessment International Education and rated 5-star for Quality Standards Award for Private Education Institutions (SKIPS) by the Ministry of Education, a lot of attention has been drawn to IDRISSI.
GAINS, which has made a name for itself as the forefront in the education sector through existing subsidiaries, namely Genius Aulad, IDRISSI International School and Sekolah Tinta, is immensely proud to share the new addition to the family with the name Malaysia-Qatar International School (MQIS) today. The school will be launched in September 2023 with building cost of approximately RM300Mil to cater a capacity of 2,575 students.

Having prestigious projects under the portfolio of Atmosphere, a construction company that built one of the well-known hotel chains around the world, is expected to set MQIS apart. MQIS will be a purpose-built campus with a total built up area of approximately 19,700 sqm. The school will feature a football field, olympic swimming pool, musical theater hall, library, multi-purpose gym/hall and specialist classes equipped with the latest educational technology.
