Learning Mathematics Through a Creative Parts of a Circle Project

As part of our project-based learning approach, one of our students presented a creative Parts of a Circle model, demonstrating a clear understanding of fundamental geometry concepts through an engaging hands-on activity.
Using a colourful three-dimensional model, she confidently explained the essential components of a circle, including the centre, radius, diameter, circumference, chord, arc, sector, and segment. The presentation showcased not only her mathematical knowledge but also her ability to communicate concepts with clarity and confidence.
Project-based learning allows students to connect theory with practical application, making mathematical concepts easier to understand and remember. Through activities like this, students develop problem-solving abilities, creativity, communication skills, and self-confidence—essential competencies for lifelong learning.
