LIS Staff and Students Celebrate Merdeka Fiesta

The Merdeka Fiesta 2017 at Labuan International School (LIS) was successfully held from the the 1st of August till 15th of September 2017. Numerous events that were held during the month long celebration to commemorate the independence day of Malaysia and the formation of Malaysia with the objective of instilling patriotism among the LIS community.

The events held included a Merdeka singing contest, a poster & colouring contest, a photography contest, a traditional games competition, a Quiz competition and Merdeka Run. The closing ceremony of the event was officiated by the principal, Pn. Zainab Batin, and the VIPs present were LIS’s director-in-charge, Mr. Wan Ahmad Sanusi Mahmood, & LFSA’s director of group internal audit and Risk Management, Mr Rizlan Mokhtar.
