Labuan International School (LIS) won fifth place in Sabah Age Group held at Likas Sports Complex recently, with the result of 3 Gold, 6 Silver and 5 Bronze medals in total. This marks the third swimming competition the LIS Swimming Club has participated in since its establishment last year. The swimming team consisted of 18 swimmers and was led by Clement David, the Head Coach.

Along with the school’s focus on the students’ balance on ‘Body, Mind and Soul’, there are various extra-curricular activities provided for students to explore their interests and talents. Swimming is one of the most popular activities at LIS, leading the management of the school to hire a professional swimming coach ever since the Olympic size swimming pool was launched last year.
