We are beyond proud of our ACE EdVenture Biosphere student, Joe Chew, also known as “𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗢𝗰𝗲𝗮𝗻𝗶𝘀𝘁”, for achieving yet another incredible milestone! 🌟
Yesterday, Joe made history by being listed in the 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵 𝗔𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗥𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗿𝗱𝘀 as the "First Malaysian Youth to Hold Dual Roles as Global Teen Ocean Ambassador and Sustainable Fashion Ocean Ambassador, Active in Ocean Conservation Since Age 8." 🌏
Recognised in the “Environmental and Social Responsibility” category, Joe’s dedication was celebrated at the Youth Achievement Records Recognition Event on November 14th, 2024 - held on the ASEAN Festival stage at GEMBOX, Nilai. This recognition is a true testament to his deep commitment to ocean conservation and sustainable fashion! 💚
Since age 8, Joe has been on a mission to regenerate our oceans, from mapping corals to tackling pollution in the fashion industry. His remarkable initiatives, including the “𝗘𝘆𝗲 𝗦𝗲𝗮 𝗬𝗼𝘂” fashion line 🪸, the “𝗔 𝗥𝗶𝗽𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝗧𝗶𝗺𝗲” campaign, and a series of powerful talks on ocean conservation, showcase his vision for a world where every choice makes a difference. These projects serve as bold reminders of the importance of mindful, sustainable actions to protect our oceans. 🌊
