Raffles American School (RAS) is proud to be officially welcomed as a full member of the East Asia Regional Council of Schools (EARCOS).

Dr. Dick Krajczar, executive director of EARCOS, visited RAS in April 2015 in response to the school’s application for membership to the organization. Dr. Krajczar was impressed by the friendly students, teachers and staff members at RAs. After a visit to the school’s construction site and review of its architectural plans for the permanent campus he applauded RAS on both its current and future educational facilities and programs.

The East Asia Regional Council of Schools (EARCOS) inspires adult and student learning through its leadership and service and fosters intercultural understanding, global citizenship and exceptional educational practices within their learning community.

Membership in EARCOS is open to elementary and secondary schools in East Asia which offer an educational program using English as the primary language of instruction, and to other organizations, institutions, and individuals interested in the objectives and purposes of the Council.
