RAS Is Moving! New Campus Phase One Opens August 2016
One time registration fee of RM15,000, per student, will not apply to families entering the 2016-17 School Year.
Raffles American School Malaysia (RAS) has grown from a start up school in August 2012 to a WASC accredited, EARCOS Member school. Our growth has gone from Grades 1-8, to encompass Pre-kindergarten through Grade 12. Our first round of Advanced Placement Tests have been administered May 2016 and our high school students have sat for their SAT tests. Two major firsts for RAS!

Raffles Education Corporation (REC) of Singapore has developed the RAS Brand as a current, regionally relevant American Curriculum standards referenced school with a Learning Outcome approach. REC planted the seeds for the birth of RAS in 2011 with the hiring of a New York Architectural Firm, SOM. SOM developed an inspirational educational plan which won second prize at the Architectural Festival in 2012 for Best New Educational Design. The 46 acre campus plan incorporates the slope of the land from hill to wetland through the construction of 19 terraced levels and flowing roof lines which channel water toward the wetlands. Students enter the top of the campus as four-year-olds and graduate from the Performing Arts Centre at the south end of the campus. Secondly, the classrooms are nestled in the middle of the 46 acres with the indoor supporting facilities surrounding and the outdoor supporting facilities forming the outer ring. An undeveloped 6 acre wooded hill will serve as outdoor education space.
Announcing Phase One! RAS announces the completion of the first phase of the purpose built campus ready for occupancy in August 2016 with full completion scheduled for 2017. Phase one will boast a 50-seat planetarium, Gymnasium Complex, state of the art library, media and classroom spaces with multiple playgrounds and a 6 acre undeveloped green space.
