Room to explore your potential
The IGBIS Scholarship
Every young person deserves the opportunity to explore their potential. At IGB International School, scholarships recognise students' strengths and provide opportunities to grow within the IB learning community.
Recognising Strengths. Opening Doors.
Some students stay behind to finish the painting. Some are first onto the field, some quietly organise the class fundraiser, and some cannot put down a maths problem until it is solved. Every one of them has strengths worth recognising.
A support system for the whole student
Students do their best work when they feel known, safe and encouraged. At IGBIS, wellbeing is part of school life, and every student joins as a full member of the community.
| Learning that stretches. Small class sizes, strong teacher mentorship and inquiry-based learning help students build critical thinking skills, ask questions and take ownership of their education. | A place to belong. Scholars share the same classrooms, activities and opportunities as every other student, with teachers who provide academic guidance and support students' wellbeing. |
"The teachers and community showed me that asking for guidance is a key part of the learning process—it just makes you stronger."

From IGCSE to the IB
Students joining IGBIS from IGCSE or other curricula are guided as they become familiar with the IB Diploma Programme and its requirements.

University and careers counsellors
Dedicated University and Careers Counsellors guide students through pathway planning, applications and information on universities worldwide.
Preparing for life, not just university. Alongside academics, students practise real-life skills, such as designing a weekly meal plan on a fictional budget.
"It sounds simple, but it really helps you get ready for university life and living on your own."
Julie, IGBIS scholarship alumna 2025/2026
A secondary leadership team that knows your child's name
The Head of School, Coordinators and teachers are approachable, invested and involved. Parents and students can speak to the people who make decisions. Coordinators support students as they progress through their secondary years.
