Stepping onto a larger stage takes confidence, preparation, and a willingness to be seen.
At XCL’s Got Talent 2026, three students from Sri KDU International School Penang did just that, each bringing their own voice, interpretation, and individuality to the performance.
For many of them, this was an opportunity to step beyond the familiar and experience performing alongside peers from across the XCL community.
Each performance reflected a different musical journey.

Olivia performed Fountain in the Rain, a delicate piano piece inspired by musical Impressionism. Through careful control and expressive playing, she brought out the imagery and flow of the music with confidence and sensitivity.

Annika took on Rise Up, delivering a heartfelt vocal performance that conveyed strength and resilience. Her ability to connect with the message of the song was evident in the sincerity of her delivery.

Samantha performed Heartbreak Anniversary, presenting a more introspective piece that explored emotion and vulnerability. With controlled vocals and thoughtful expression, she captured the reflective nature of the song.
While each performance was different, what stood out was the courage to step forward, the discipline behind the preparation, and the willingness to share their talents in front of a wider audience.
Experiences like this give students valuable exposure, not just to performing, but to learning from others, appreciating different styles, and building confidence through real opportunities.
At Sri KDU International School Penang, every student is encouraged to explore their interests and develop their strengths, whether on stage, in the classroom, or beyond. Congratulations to these students for stepping forward and representing the school, and we look forward to seeing even more of them take the stage in the future.
