Sri KDU International School Klang has been officially recognised as a Microsoft Elevate Showcase School for 2026–2027, marking a significant milestone in the school’s commitment to purposeful technology integration, professional growth and innovation in teaching and learning.
The recognition reflects the collective efforts of the school community to harness technology meaningfully, strengthen educational practices and create learning experiences that prepare students for an increasingly digital world.
Adding to this achievement, 27 educators from Sri KDU Klang have been recognised as Microsoft Elevate Educator Experts for 2026–2027. This collective accomplishment highlights the depth of expertise within the school and its commitment to empowering educators to continually refine their practice, embrace new possibilities and enhance the learning experience for students.
The initiative was led by Jennifer Danaraj, the school’s EdTech Lead, whose leadership and sustained efforts helped drive the school’s successful application and educator recognition. Over more than six months, teachers dedicated time to professional learning, training and documenting their classroom practices, demonstrating a shared commitment to developing their capabilities alongside their everyday responsibilities. Teaching and non-teaching colleagues also contributed to the wider school effort, reinforcing a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.

Meaningful innovation in education begins with educators who are committed to learning, evolving and rethinking what is possible for their students. This recognition reflects the calibre of our teaching community, with Jennifer’s leadership exemplifying how individual expertise can inspire collective progress. Together, our educators are ensuring that technology serves a clear purpose in enriching teaching and learning,” shared Rhys Thomas, Principal of Sri KDU International School Klang.
As a Microsoft Elevate Showcase School, Sri KDU Klang will continue to build on this achievement by strengthening professional learning, encouraging collaboration and advancing the purposeful use of educational technology across the school. The recognition also provides an opportunity to share practices and insights with the wider educational community.
This milestone celebrates more than an institutional recognition. It reflects the dedication of educators who continue to invest in their professional growth, the leadership that supports their development and a school community united in its pursuit of better learning outcomes.
